SCHEDULE FOR GHANA PREMIER LEAGUE MATCHWEEK 16

The Christmas holidays will be filled with lots of thrilling Ghana Premier League matches at various match venues across the country.

This year’s Accra derby will open the Matchday 16 round of matches with the Great Olympics FC set to take on their city-rivals Hearts of Oak SC on Friday, December 22, 2023.

The match will however be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi at 6pm on Friday due to the unavailability of the Accra Sports Stadium.

On Saturday, it will be the turn of Berekum Chelsea FC to take on Bofoakwa Tano FC in a Bono-derby match at the Golden City park in Berekum.

Dreams FC and Medeama SC will be available this weekend to honour their respective league matches after their brief absence from the domestic scene due to their CAF Club competition matches.

Soccer fans in Dawu and its environs will enjoy Christmas day soccer when Legon Cities host Heart of Lions FC at the Theatre of Dreams on Monday, December 25, 2023.

There will also be a boxing day action in Tarkwa when Medeama SC host Bibiani Goldstars on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
